Jalin Hyatt Strains Hamstring, Will Participate In Pro Day

According to reports, Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt strained his hamstring during the NFL Combine but would participate in his pro day.
In this story:

Wide receiver Jalin Hyatt had one of the most explosive days at the NFL Combine. While he didn't record the lightning fast forty-yard dash that some thought he would, Hyatt's metrics were among the top performers.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport, Hyatt felt tightness in his hamstring and stopped doing position work out of an abundance of caution. However, he has already confirmed that he will be good for his pro day.

Hyatt logged 1,267 yards and and 15 touchdowns during the 2022 season. There isn't a consensus receiver at the top of the draft, and Hyatt's performance at the combine coupled with his tape and speed could make him a first-round pick.

He proved everything he needed to at his combine. He logged a RAS score of 9.46, one of the highest marks of the entire event. His teammate, wide receiver Cedric Tillman, also posted a strong RAS score of 9.22.

Hyatt is making a case for becoming a first-round pick. Mocks are typically split on him, with some outlets having him slip into the top of the second round. However, his long speed and athleticism are becoming more and more enticing.
