The Tennessee Volunteers (7-4, 3-4) are facing the Vanderbilt Commodores (2-9, 0-7) this afternoon. Volunteer Country has the latest updates and information from the action.
In this story:

Today is the regular season finale for the Vols. They face their in-state rivals, the Vanderbilt Commodores. Vandy is still searching for its first SEC win of the year, while the Vols still have much to play for with two contests left.

The betting line has continued to increase in Tennessee's favor ahead of kickoff. Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel is 2-0 against Vanderbilt during his time in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the Vols have won both contests by a combined 80 points.

The Vols won't be in a New Year's 6 Bowl this year and didn't get a marquee win as they did in 2022, but they still can get to nine wins, a major victory for a program that has been searching for this level of success for decades.
