Tennessee Ranked Inside Latest CFP Top 25
The Tennessee Volunteers are gearing up for their regular season finale against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Vols are coming off two consecutive losses, which has left a poor taste in their mouth. However, if they win out they still finish with nine wins, a strong mark for a program still working its way up.
The College Football Playoff committee chose to give the Vols the benefit of the doubt in their losses - Georgia and Mizzou are two strong squads, though losing by a combined 57 points doesn't look good. Tennessee checks in as the No. 21 squad in college football ahead of rivalry week, good for the No. 6 spot in the SEC. They are still the No. 3 team in the SEC East, trailing the Bulldogs and Tigers.
