Ivy League Transfer Sets Visit With Tennessee

The Tennessee Volunteers are getting active in the transfer portal and are targeting Harvard forward Chris Ledlum.
In this story:

Harvard Forward Chris Ledlum has set a visit to Tennessee. Ledlum, the First Team All-Conference Player in the Ivy League this past season, will be in Knoxville on April 14-16. Ledlum has recently cut his list to five schools that include Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, St. John's, and Tennessee.

Ledlum, as a player, can absolutely play at a high major. He is 6'6 with a big frame and averaged close to 19 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this past season. However, it would be interesting to see how Ledlum fits in this Tennessee rotation and system.

Ledlum is a good slasher. He can bully you with his size, and he also brings it on the defensive end. As he was top 200 in the country in both steal and block%. However, Ledlum shot just 30% from three this past season. If there is one thing Tennessee needs the most, it is floor spacing along with another primary ball handler.

The Harvard transfer has not yet set a commitment date and is currently taking his time with his visits and making his decision. It's also currently unclear what role Ledlum would have in Knoxville as we have yet to find out which players are using their covid years and if anyone is leaving early for the NBA.
