Braylon Staley Sets Official Visit
Braylon Staley is a four-star wide receiver out of Aiken High School in Aiken, South Carolina. He stands an even 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. The receiver is in the class of 2024. On Thursday, he took to Twitter to announce an official visit to Tennessee on June 16-18.
He has recently scheduled other June visits on Twitter to schools such as Miami (FL) and Clemson. He also recently reacted to the news of the top overall prospect in his class, Dylan Raiola, committing to Georgia this week, retweeting the announcement with the eyes emoji. Staley has 23 offers, including from Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida, in addition to Tennessee. As far as his home state, the offers are from Clemson and Coastal Carolina, and Staley also has offers from North Carolina, NC State, Appalachian State, Duke, East Carolina, and Wake Forest from North Carolina.
Staley is a multi-sport athlete, competing in track and field and being a star on the gridiron. In track, he runs the 100-meter and 200-meter and also competes in the triple jump. In his junior season on the field, Staley had 838 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. What stands out the most is his ability to track the football and make highly contested catches. Staley uses his track speed to beat defenders down the field but don’t let that undermine his ability to make quick cuts in his routes.Â
