David Sanders Jr. Will Cut List On Saturday

2025 five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. (Charlotte, N.C.) will cut his recruitment to six schools on Saturday, and his suitors include the Tennessee Volunteers.
In this story:

Providence Day School offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. may currently be the No. 1 uncommitted player on the Vols' recruiting board. He ranks as the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Tennessee has invested much time into this recruitment, and the home stretch is in sight.

Sanders will be in Knoxville, Tennessee, for an unofficial visit in March. It will be his fourth time on Rocky Top, and he's also expected to schedule an official visit to Tennessee for the summer. He's only locked in one official visit thus far with the Clemson Tigers for the weekend of May 31. Georgia is the third program atop this battle, and all three will likely find themselves on his top six schools list, which is releasing tomorrow.

Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee landed LSU Tigers offensive tackle Lance Heard in the transfer portal this past cycle. He's proven to go out and recruit this caliber of prospect against other premier programs - time will tell if he can with Sanders.
