Deuce Knight Cuts List To 10
The 2025 quarterback class carries several quality signal callers that the Tennessee Volunteers are pursuing. Four-star Deuce Knight is one of those quarterbacks; Knight has seen his recruitment explode this offseason and has quickly become a national recruit. Knight has announced his top ten schools after taking things in and enjoying the early stages of his new process.
The Vols keyed in on Knight early in the process. They extended an offer in June 2022 and have been in close communication since. Tennessee is a primary contender for him; Knight caught up with Volunteer Country last week and named the Vols, Ole Miss, TCU, and Notre Dame his favorites. All those programs communicate with Knight multiple times per week. He's scheduled visits with Tennessee (June 2) and LSU (June 7) but is scheduling other visits to Georgia, Notre Dame, TCU, and Ole Miss. He likely will see other college campuses, namely from his top ten schools.

Knight spoke with On3 after releasing the news and detailed his interest in each program. He spoke highly of the Vols, saying, "My relationships with the staff are great. The offense is explosive, and what Coach Heupel does with QBs speaks for itself." He said similar things when talking to Volunteer Country, also ensuring to underscore that he enjoys the city of Knoxville and the energy that the college town has. Knight hasn't set a timeline for a decision but did say he wants to commit early. "I do want to commit early; I just don't think I have a timeline. It might be tomorrow, or it might be months from now, just really whenever I feel ready to call a place home."
