Elite 2027 WR Ethan Feaster Talks Tennessee, Future Plans
Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed a young man named Ethan Feaster popping up on your timeline. The class of 2027 (!) wideout carries 24 Power-5 offers at the time this article releases, though that number will likely become outdated within days. Feaster was getting offers on middle school field trips this year - typically, college coaches like to take their time, but everyone is in on this recruitment early.
He walked us through the beginning of a daunting process. "My phone has been getting blown up every day. Coaches want to reach out to me, and I've been taking visits; my recruitment process has been crazy." Feaster repeatedly underscored that he's thankful for all the attention, but it can be hectic for someone so young. However, he has full confidence in himself moving forward. He showed up and performed all week at the Elite 11 Finals and the OT7 tournament and forecasted that success in our interview. "This is going to be a big weekend for me. I'm already on the map; I'm just building my stock even more. This is going to be a really big weekend, for sure."
The Tennessee Volunteers offered Feaster in May and have been steady in their interest. "Actually, when I got offered by them, I was on a field trip with my school," Feaster recalled. "Coach [Kerry] Sweeny, my receivers coach, called me when he was in the room with the receivers coach at Tennessee [Kelsey Pope], and he said he wanted to offer me. He said I had good film and he had heard good things about me. They showed me real love - I love it out there at Tennessee." Feaster confirmed that he plans to be in Knoxville at the end of July, all things willing.
