Final Visitor Notes From Texas A&M
Tennessee hosted multiple visitors this past weekend. The Volunteers took on the Aggies in an electric environment. The Volunteers got the best of A&M, which ultimately led to some strong opinions from recruits.
Among that list were commits, underclassmen, and Tennessee targets. Volunteer Country had the opportunity to speak with a lengthy list of recruits who got the chance to watch the Volunteers defeat the Aggies. Take a look below at what all of the recruits had to say.
"Tennessee is home for me; I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else." Jordan Ross, 2024 Tennessee EDGE commit
"It was good catching up with the coaches; the crowd was electric as always, and the staff showed great hospitality." Shavar Young, 2026 ATH
"The atmosphere in the stadium was unbelievable because of the fans and how incredibly loud it was. To be honest, it's one of the loudest stadiums I've been in, and the DL played their butts off with multiple sacks." Amir Leonard Jean Charles, 2025 DL
"The Tennessee game was electric! Neyland was rocking as always, and it was an awesome game to get to experience and watch." Edwin Spillman, 2024 Tennessee ILB commit
“The defense played really well." They looked really well-coached; the defensive line arguably looked like the best in the nation yesterday; it’s amazing, plus just the game itself was electric." Christian Garrett, 2025 DL
"Great atmosphere inside, great fans, loud, and I like the color cord with the orange and white in the stands." Tyriq Green, 2026 ATH
"The coaches gave off the same vibe the players did as if they were stepping on the field to play." 2025 Stephon Shivers, 2025 DL
“It was a great experience going up there and watching the game. The fans showed so much love and treated me well. Everyone was turnt during the game, which was exciting. I like the coaches and what they did for the program. Hopefully, I can get back up there again soon.” Zyntreacs Otey, 2026 CB
“This was my third gameday visit, and I would describe the atmosphere as electric. It is by far the best atmosphere I have been in out of the visits I have been on, and that is the type of environment I would want to play in.” Jaedon Harmon, 2025 ILB
“I would definitely say they play a factor." Missouri commit Elias Williams, 2024 Missouri DL commit
“It’s very different from any other college atmosphere; it kind of seems like an NFL game.” Faizon Brandon, 2026 QB
“The atmosphere was great; I felt like family as soon as I got there. The fans were happy to see the recruits; overall, it was beautiful and a great experience." Dante McClellan, 2025 ATH
"I got to speak with Coach Abeln, and it went great." Carson Sneed, 2026 TE
Overall, all of these recruits had a positive opinion of their visit to Tennessee against Texas A&M. Tennessee has made an impact on all of these recruits, and it is interesting to see where these recruits go moving forward.
