George MacIntyre Effect Already Taking Place
2025 five-star quarterback George MacIntyre (Nashville, Tenn.) has a chance to be a standout peer recruiter for the Tennessee Volunteers.
Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre committed to the Tennessee Volunteers in January. Many immediately began what recruiting impact the blue-chip signal-caller could have - MacIntyre is popular with recruits across the country. He's developed relationships with high-level recruits through AAU basketball, 7-on-7 tournaments, and the college visit process.
When he committed to the Vols, MacIntyre clearly had a checklist of players he wanted to bring. He's been adamant that he wants to be a positive influence on other prospects during their decision-making process, so he wants to get to campus with these players as much as possible. He's a Nashville resident, so the trip to the University of Tennessee is very easy for him.
MacIntyre went to campus this weekend to see Tennessee again with Mandarin High School wide receiver Jaime Ffrench. French is one of the top receivers in the country and is on his first trip to Tennessee. The Vols are on the outside looking in for him, so getting facetime with MacIntyre could only help their chances with him.
The Vols will get several other important prospects on campus in the next few months, and it'll be interesting to see how frequently MacIntyre can make it to campus. Tennessee wants to have an elite recruiting class this cycle, and he's a big part of that puzzle.
