Is This Tennessee's Last Chance To Impress George MacIntyre?

2025 five-star quarterback George MacIntyre (Nashville, Tenn.) will be visiting the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend, and it could be his last stop before a decision.
In this story:

Nashville native George MacIntyre has been the No. 1 quarterback in Tennessee recruiting circles over the past calendar year. The five-star passer is one of the top prospects in America and is reportedly heading into the new year with the intention of making an early decision.

He will be in Knoxville, Tennessee, to watch the Vols take on Georgia this weekend, as so many other top prospects will be. The coaching staff has invested a lot of time and attention in MacIntyre, and the interest on both sides has been there from the beginning. Head coach Josh Heupel and offensive coordinator Joey Halzle spearhead his recruitment and have made numerous stops at Brentwood Academy over the past year or so.

Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee are among the contenders in this race. The Crimson Tide made up real ground over the summer, and there were murmurs that they were the No. 1 team in his recruitment. While those talks have somewhat simmered, it's a fairly even race between Alabama and Tennessee heading into the home stretch.

This may be Tennessee's last opportunity to get MacIntyre on campus before he announces. They have hosted him countless times, made him a top priority, and been consistent. Sending him into his decision with a statement visit would give MacIntyre a lot to think about before choosing his college destination.
