Jaden Reddell Commits To Georgia
2024 four-star tight end Jaden Reddell abruptly ended his recruitment on Wednesday afternoon, committing to the Georgia Bulldogs over several programs. The Tennessee Volunteers were highly interested in Reddell and still are, meaning they should continue recruiting him up until early national signing day. The Vols already have four-star tight end Jonathan Echols in the class but plan to add more.
Reddell isn't your traditional tight end. He won't often line up attached to the formation with his hand in the dirt. He's an H-back with a lot of versatility; Reddell stands 6-4 and 220 pounds while running a 4.5-second forty-yard dash. He benches 255 pounds and squats 365 pounds, meaning he's essentially an oversized wideout with dynamic athletic traits. Raymore-Peculiar High School splits him out wide frequently, and he spent a large chunk of his junior year lining up outside the numbers.
The intriguing thing about Reddell is how many route combinations you can form on the boundary with him. Few high school tight ends have as much knowledge about manipulating defensive backs as Reddell. He's routinely reading body leverage, redirecting, and implementing subtle nuances into his movements so that the defender isn't clued in on his ultimate destination.
