Jahkeem Stewart, No. 1 2026 Prospect, Includes Vols In Top 15
Saint Augustine High School defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart is an early elite name on the recruiting circuit. He ranks as the No. 1 prospect in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings, and has the usual host of elite suitors after him. The talented defender hasn't yet tripped to Knoxville, Tennessee, to see the Vols, but he included them in his first recruitment cut.
Stewart narrowed his recruitment to 15 schools on Tuesday: Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC. He's tripped to Alabama and LSU early in his recruitment while still taking a few trips to several other premium suitors.
He measures in at 6-6 and 280 pounds and logged 85 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, and 20 sacks during his sophomore season of high school. There's a reason the top names in college football are already calling, and it's hard to think that Tennessee defensive line coach Rodney Garner won't make a big run at him at some point over the next few months to a year.
