2025 three-star corner Jayden Shipps (Severn, Md.) detailed his offer from the Tennessee Volunteers and potentially getting to campus.
In this story:

Tennessee has been on the recruiting trail as of late. One of the names that Tennessee had initiated contact with recently was three-star cornerback Jayden Shipps. He plays high school football at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland. Shipps measures around 6'1 and 180 pounds and is in the 2025 class. The young corner received his Tennessee offer in September and recently took the time to detail that offer with Volunteer Country.

He said what makes Tennessee stand out is "definitely the love they show up there." The young corner also talks about his time talking to coaches. "I talked to Coach Rob [Caprice], Coach [Tim] Banks, and Coach [Danny] O'Rourke. I talked to pretty much the whole staff, and they showed me a lot of love, pretty much trying to get me up for a game and checking up on me and my family." He then follows up by saying, "I was supposed to go for the Texas A&M game, but something had come up. I would love to get down there sometime, but I don't have an exact date in mind."

Shipps spoke very highly of his position group at Tennessee. He was asked what intrigues him the most about the defensive back group, and he responded, "What stands out to me is how well-coached they look and how disciplined they play! I can tell they are being coached well."
