Joakim Dodson Transferring To The Baylor School

2025 three-star wide receiver Joakim Dodson (Collierville, Tenn.) will transfer to The Baylor School after committing to the Tennessee Volunteers.
In this story:

Collierville High School wide receiver Joakim Dodson had a big junior season and attracted a few national eyes at the college level. Tennessee's coaching staff certainly caught wind of the impressive performances of the in-state product and managed to close the deal early with him, earning his commitment in early February.

A few weeks later, Tennessee Rivals has confirmed that Dodson will transfer to The Baylor School. Dodson logged 49 receptions for 839 yards and seven touchdowns during his junior season at Collierville and ranks as the No. 556 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Dodson will team up with Baylor School wide receiver Cameron Sparks, a premium target for the Vols they've been pursuing since he was in eighth grade. Sparks ranks as the No. 42 prospect in the 2025 class and has the attention of many premium programs, including Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, and Tennessee. It can only help Tennessee's chances to have a future Vol on the roster with Sparks.
