Marques Easley Trims Recruitment To 10 Schools
Tennessee's coaching staff has been keyed in on several offensive line targets in the 2024 cycle. Offensive tackles Daniel Calhoun and Max Anderson have official visits scheduled and included the Vols in their top schools, and another top target adds his name to that grouping.
Offensive tackle Marques Easley narrowed his recruitment to 10 schools on Monday morning. He will focus on Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State, Penn State, USC, Oklahoma, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, and Texas A&M moving forward.
Easley hails from Kankakee, Illinois, and is 6-7 and 300 pounds. He looks a little slender on tape and may take some physical development when he gets on a college campus, but the strength behind his initial punch is unquestionable.
On3's Chad Simmons caught up with Easley after he narrowed down his recruitment. Easley has summer official visits scheduled with Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia but reportedly plans to use all five of the official visits available. He has a strong love for the Vols, and it seems they are positioned well for his services.
It seems like this battle comes down to SEC powers, likely between the big three of Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Several other suitors have caught his attention, but it feels like the big Midwestern lineman could be headed down south.
