2026 WR Nalin Scott Recaps Tennessee Camp, Leaving With Offer
We reported early last week that 2026 Georgia wideout Nalin Scott was making the trip to Knoxville to camp with the Volunteers. Those around the situation felt solid he would perform and leave town with an offer, just as he's done all summer. Scott has logged seven Power-5 offers after one season of high school, and the Vols did indeed jump into the mix by offering him on Sunday shortly after the camp.
Scott is getting major interest from Georgia, Clemson, and Auburn. He camped with all three this summer - he stands 6-3 and 185 pounds, an ideal frame for an SEC outside receiver. The Vols have several big-bodied wideouts on the roster, namely Bru McCoy, and feel they have one of the best systems to maximize that player mold. Scott also recognizes that system, underscoring how much he likes Tennessee's offensive approach. "They are definitely top five right now," he explained. For now, wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope is his point of contact with the team, but tight ends coach Alec Abeln has also made contact. Scott could continue growing and become more of a tight-end prospect, but the Vols want him regardless of where he ends up.
He's taking in the early part of his process and enjoying the interest from every program. However, the Tennessee offer was a milestone and one he won't forget. "It was a really good feeling knowing that the work I've put in has really been paying off." Scott confirmed that he plans to return to campus "very soon." Even though he didn't go through the normal parts of a visit, as he was only there for a camp, the Knoxville atmosphere struck him. "The area, in general, is a place to remember," he said, echoing what many recruits say when they see Rocky Top for the first time.
