Tennessee will find a way to take two running backs in the 2024 recruiting cycle. They've done their homework on the position and already landed four-star running back Peyton Lewis (Salem, Va.). They are working on several other options in the class, though. Four-star running back Braylen Russell (Benton, Ark.) commits on July 14, and many expect him to decide between Arkansas and Tennessee. The Vols are determined to ensure that he isn't their only option, especially as we head deeper into commitment season.

Four-star running back Nate Frazier (Santa Ana, Calif.) is the No. 1 running back in America on two recruiting websites: On3 and Rivals. The Mater Dei standout dashed for 791 yards and nine touchdowns during his junior season on a staggering 11.4 yards per carry. He's an impressive athlete, clocking a personal-best 10.58-second run in the 100-meter dash as a junior. Frazier also ran a 21.62-second 200-meter dash this year, showcasing the long speed that has many major programs calling. After weighing his options, Frazier decided to narrow his focus on Tuesday.

Frazier is down to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. He officially visited Alabama and Oregon over the summer, and those two have made real impressions on the young back. He's closing in on a decision, and the Vols must act fast if they want to become a contender in his recruitment.
