Tennessee has keyed in on 2024 wide receiver Ryan Wingo for months. The Volunteers identified him early on in the cycle and pushed all their chips toward landing him. They were the No. 1 suitor by a wide margin, but it seems a major power is now in play.

Georgia is defending two consecutive national championships, losing one game in two seasons. They have dominated most of the competition and are the consensus top team in college football entering 2023. They are also in on Wingo, pushing a lot of chips toward him recently. Intel confirms that Georgia is making a push for Wingo after hosting him for an unofficial visit on March 18. He will officially visit the Bulldogs in June, one of his only confirmed visits.

Quarterback Dylan Raiola may play a role in this recruitment. The playing field seemed level in Raiola's recruitment, with Georgia, USC, and Nebraska each gaining momentum. However, the Bulldogs have started making some noise, as it sounds like newly minted offensive coordinator Mike Bobo meshes well with Raiola.

Dylan is the type of player that prospects will want to follow. It makes sense why Wingo would theoretically follow Raiola; you just have to turn on the tape to understand. Tennessee is the No. 2 contender right now, according to sources. The Vols are in no way out of this race, but impressing him the next time he's on campus is essential. It would be tough to spend this much time recruiting him and then have Georgia come in at the eleventh hour to snatch Wingo away.
