Two Schools Standing Out For George MacIntyre
Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre may be the player that Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel has invested the most time in since he took the job. MacIntyre has been Tennessee's top option at the quarterback position in the 2025 cycle, and despite flirting with several other names in the cycle, they haven't wavered on their position.
He recently caught up with On3's Chad Simmons about his recruitment, and it seems like he will be committing shortly. His top three schools are Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee, but MacIntyre told Simmons that two schools are sticking out. The quarterback dominoes continue to fall in the class, with No. 1 quarterback Bryce Underwood coming off the board on Saturday evening. MacIntyre is the No. 2 quarterback and will shortly be America's top uncommitted signal caller.
"MacIntyre has a legitimate case to be 2025's No. 1 quarterback. The Tennessee native has a big arm, strong athletic traits, and is a Power-5 basketball player. He doesn't turn the football over and comes from a college-ready system at Brentwood Academy. MacIntyre consistently shows up at top events and throws as well as any other prospect in America. His sophomore tape flashes signs of a potential high-caliber SEC starter. MacIntyre has all the traits that top offenses value. If you keep the football out of harm's way and can attack defense vertically, chances are you find success at the collegiate level." Volunteer Country on George MacIntyre
