Tyler Atkinson a Top Name at UA All-American Camp

2026 five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson (Loganville, Ga.) is high on the Tennessee Volunteers and performed well at the Under Armour All-American Camp in Atlanta.
In this story:

Grayson High School linebacker Tyler Atkinson is already generating national attention as a rising junior. The two-time MaxPreps All-American ranks as the No. 11 prospect in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings, and is high on the Tennessee Volunteers early in his recruitment.

The Knoxville, Tennessee, native made it to campus on November 18 for the Georgia game and has built a strong relationship with defensive line coach Rodney Garner. Many other premium programs are giving chase, which will be a crowded recruitment. Atkinson stopped in Atlanta, Georgia, for the Under Armour All-American Camp, which was littered with national recruits. He checked in as the No. 8 performer at the entire event, according to On3.

"Tyler Atkinson pulled double duty on Sunday at Under Armour Atlanta, working as an EDGE before switching over to linebacker later in the day. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder’s effort level and burst stood out in both sessions. Atkinson plays with a palpable energy, going full speed on every rep. Aside from drills, he was at his best during the running back-linebacker 1-on-1’s. We saw Atkinson stick with running backs down the boundary on several occasions. As a former defensive end who converted to linebacker last fall, Atkinson is clearly sound in coverage and impressed with his ability to play in space on Sunday. Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee and LSU are among the teams in the mix early on according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine." - On3's Charles Power on Tyler Atkinson
