Longhorns Walked Off 5-4, Drop Series to Titans: Live Game Log

The Longhorns are looking to clinch the road series win over the Titans on Sunday afternoon.

The Texas Longhorns (4-6) are wrapping up their three-game road series on Sunday against the Cal State Fullerton Titans (3-5), looking to secure the series win after winning on Saturday. 

In the 4-2 win on Saturday, the biggest storyline for the Longhorns was the gem of a pitching performance from Zane Morehouse and Charlie Hurley coming out of the bullpen. 

Morehouse gave the Longhorns five innings of one-run baseball, while Hurley came on in relief to toss four innings of one-run baseball himself, as the duo shut down a strong Titans lineup. 

As for the offense, the Longhorns started off strong with back-to-back home runs from Dylan Campbell and Porter Brown in the first inning before adding a run in both the second and fourth inning in the win. 

Now, the Longhorns look to secure a series win on the road before returning to Austin for a lengthy 14-game homestand that stretches to the end of March.
