Longhorns Cruise Past Islanders 12-2, Secure First Win: Live Game Log

The Longhorns seek their first win of the season as they welcome the Islanders to town.

The Texas Longhorns (0-3) are back in action on Tuesday night, as they are set to take on the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders (2-1) in a midweek game on Tuesday. 

Texas is seeking its first win of the season following a disappointing showing in the College Baseball Showdown over the weekend. The Longhorns were plagued by inconsistent bats and defensive woes in all three losses. 

Now, though, they have a chance to get back on track against an Islanders team that enters Tuesday at 2-1 after outscoring UT Arlington 20-12 in their opening series.
