No. 15 Texas Blows Past St. John's 15-4: Live Game Log

The Longhorns look to extend their winning streak against St. John's on Tuesday.

Another Tuesday means the No. 15 Texas Longhorns (6-1) are back in action for their second midweek contest of the home. Wrapping up an eight-game home stand, they welcome the St. John's Red Storm (2-2) to Disch-Falk Field. 

The Longhorns enter the game against the Red Storm riding a wave of momentum, fresh off a dominant sweep of the Cal Poly Mustangs in which the pitching staff did not allow a single run to score. Sitting at a scoreless inning streak of 28 straight innings dating back to a win over Houston Christian, they look to keep it going. 

Offensively, the lineup appears to have found its footing and gotten into a solid groove. Following the aforementioned 20-3 drubbing of Houston Christian, the duo of Jared Thomas and Peyton Powell stayed red-hot over the weekend. 

That being said, it would be foolish to overlook this St. John's squad. The Red Storm enter with both of their wins coming over good teams in Florida and Houston respectively.
