Bijan Robinson Favored to Win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year

After being selected in the top 10 by the Atlanta Falcons, Bijan Robinson is primed to have a strong rookie season.
In this story:

Even though none of the rookies taken in the NFL draft have played a single snap of football at the professional level, we already have betting odds for both Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year

Leading the current betting odds to bring home the Offensive Rookie of the Year hardware is former Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson, who the Atlanta Falcons drafted at No. 8 overall in the first round.

Robinson's odds currently sit at +350, which is just ahead of Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young at +400 and Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud at +650.

Should Robinson be named Offensive Rookie of the Year it would be the first time a running back has won the award since Saquon Barkley and Alvin Kamara won it back-to-back in 2017 and 2018. He would also be the first Longhorn to bring home the award since Vince Young did so in 2006 and the first running back since Earl Campbell in 1978.

There is no telling yet what Robinson's role will look like in Atlanta's offense alongside Tyler Allgeier, but as a team last season the Falcons prided themselves on running the ball to the tune of 159.8 yards per game on the ground.

Add in the Doak Walker winner in Robinson, who ran for 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final season at Texas, and it isn't hard to see why he's the current favorite to win the award.
