LOOK: Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin Trolls Oklahoma For Texas Loss
With Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin's Twitter account, you don't know what you're going to get.
Kiffin might post photos of his dog, Juice, tweeting about his children Landry, Presley or Knox or showing off his latest hobby: trolling. The Ole Miss head coach tweeted a photo Monday of an Oklahoma license plate that read "Silence," tagging Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian in an obvious troll job of their rival in the Sooners.
He added a No. 0 after his inquisitive emoji, implying that Sarkisian and the Longhorns silenced Oklahoma in the 2022 edition of the Red River Showdown, in which Texas shut out the Sooners 49-0.
At the Cotton Bowl in Dallas last season, Texas won in its largest margin of victory in the 118-game series history while also snapping a four-game losing streak against the Sooners.
Texas has the opportunity in the Allstate Red River Rivalry in 2023 to win back-to-back matchups against Oklahoma since the 2008-09 seasons.
Kiffin will have to worry about game-planning for head coach Brent Venables and the Sooners in 2024 when both Oklahoma and Texas join the Southeastern Conference.
