Bijan Robinson Predicts Texas Longhorns Blowout Win Over Washington in Sugar Bowl
The Texas Longhorns have finally battled off their mediocrity demons and are contending for a championship.
It only took 14 years, three different coaches, and a slew of misses on recruits for them to get there but they are finally here. One of the main players who helped transcend the program and was a nice holdover from the Tom Herman era for Steve Sarkisian was running back Bijan Robinson.
The former five-star recruit was as elite as they come, and while he wasn't a part of this year's team because he is currently in the NFL as a first-round pick, Texas fans will forever be grateful for his time in Austin.
With the Longhorns getting ready for their College Football Playoff debut against Washington on December 1 in the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, the excitement around the program is as high as ever. Someone who is equally excited and confident in the Longhorns who opened as favorites over the No. 2 seed Huskies is Robinson himself.
When asked about who he thinks will win, he not only picked Texas to do so, but he thinks they will win in blowout fashion. Robinson referred to the game as a revenge game for Texas, who the Huskies got the best of last season in the Alamo Bowl. He also is so confident that he called Texas "elite."
According to ESPN, the Longhorns are favored by four points with the matchup predictor giving them a 68.4% chance of winning.
