WATCH: Quinn Ewers Finds Adonai Mitchell For The Score, Extends Texas Longhorns Lead

The Texas Longhorns are looking to to run the table as they have Big 12 and College Football Playoff Aspirations.
In this story:

In their Week 11 game against the TCU Horned Frogs, the No. 7 Texas Longhorns had a few opportunities to deliver a major blow in the first half but came up short.

That was until the Longhorns drove down the field in 13 plays in a drive that took nearly five minutes. Following a costly penalty by a TCU defender that saw him slam Xavier Worthy while he was already out of bounds, Quinn Ewers found Georgia transfer Adonai Mitchell in the end zone for the touchdown.

The score extended Texas' lead to 19-6, which they were able to add too quickly after as Terrance Brooks picked off TCU's Josh Hoover.

The Texas offense was again able to drive down the field, setting up a rushing touchdown from Jonathon Brooks to extend the lead to 26-6.

The Longhorns are headed into the half with another massive lead, and with Ewers finally back from injury they should have no issue pouring it on to the Horned Frogs. In his first game back after missing the last two due to an injury, Ewers has completed 15-of-22 passes for 244 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

His three-headed pass-catching monsters are also showing out, as Mitchell, Xavier Worthy, and Ja'Tavion Sanders have combined for 14 catches for 238 yards and the one score. Jonathon Brooks currently has 67 yards on 15 carries, while also powering two big scores for the Longhorns.

It will be a test to see how they finish this game out, as that has been an issue for the Longhorns under Steve Sarkisian.
