No. 5 Longhorns vs. West Virginia Mountaineers: Live Game Updates

The Longhorns are back in action in a Saturday Big 12 showdown against the Mountaineers.

The Texas Longhorns (19-5, 8-3) are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they host the West Virginia Mountaineers (15-9, 4-7) in a Big 12 showdown.

Texas enters the matchup with sole possession of first place in the conference and hopes to maintain that with a win on Saturday. The Longhorns also look to get back in the win column following their 88-80 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks.

As for the Mountaineers, they find themselves down in eight currently in the conference standings, which only speaks to how tough the schedule has been in the Big 12 this season.

They are riding a mini two-game winning streak, looking to make it three on Saturday. However, in the first matchup between these two teams earlier in the season the Longhorns secured a 69-61 road victory.

Stay tuned as we provide live updates from the Longhorns Big 12 showdown against the Mountaineers.
