Longhorns' Sir'Jabari Rice Wins Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year - Full Conference Awards List
The Big 12 Conference revealed honors and awards for the 2022-23 regular season on Sunday, and the Texas Longhorns were well represented.
Texas guard Sir'Jabari Rice has been named the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year after wrapping up his first regular season with the Longhorns. He was also named to the All-Big 12 Third Team and the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team. Rice is averaging 12.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and two assists headed into the Big 12 Tournament.
Longhorns guard Marcus Carr received the prestigious honor of being named to the All-Big 12 First Team after leading Texas in average points (16.2), assists (4.2) and steals (1.6) during the regular season.

Big 12 Player of the Year (unanimous) - Jalen Wilson, Kansas
Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year - Dajuan Harris Jr., Kansas
Big 12 Newcomer of the Year (unanimous) - Keyontae Johnson, Kansas State
Big 12 Freshman of the Year - Keyonte George, Baylor
Big 12 Most Improved Player - KJ Adams Jr., Kansas
Big 12 Coach of the Year - Jerome Tang, Kansas State
The Longhorns will now play either Oklahoma or Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Tournament on Thursday in Kansas City.
