No. 8 Longhorns vs. 23 Iowa State: Preview, Betting Odds & How to Watch
AUSTIN -- The No. 8 Texas Longhorns host the No. 23 Iowa State Cyclones at the Moody Center on Tuesday for the second meeting of the season.
Rankings mean little in this critical Big 12 matchup, as the Cyclones (17-9, 8-6) will be looking for a season sweep over the Longhorns (21-6, 10-4) after beating them 78-67 in Ames on Jan. 17.
However, Iowa State enters Tuesday having lost three of its last four, as the Cyclones have stumbled down the Big 12 standings a bit despite having top-10 wins over Kansas, Kansas State and Texas.
Texas lost its share of first place in the conference after Kansas vaulted itself into the top spot following a win over TCU on Monday. A loss for the Longhorns on Tuesday would put a significant dent in their hopes of finishing the regular season in first place.
