Longhorns vs. Kansas Big 12 Championship: Preview, Betting Odds, How to Watch
The Texas Longhorns may have come up short of their of being crowned Big 12 regular-season champs.
But winning the Big 12 Tournament would certainly help heal the wound, something the second-seeded Longhorns have a chance to do when they take on the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks in the Big 12 Championship at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on Saturday.
The Longhorns and Jayhawks split the season series 1-1, with Texas winning the most recent meeting 75-59 in Austin for the last game of the regular season. Kansas won the first meeting 88-80 at Allen Fieldhouse on Feb. 6.
However, this time around, both sides will be without some familiar faces.
Kansas will be missing legendary head coach Bill Self, who will be absent once again due to an undisclosed illness. The Longhorns will be without forward Timmy Allen for a third-straight game, as he continues to battle knee soreness.
