Where Did Longhorns Legend Kevin Durant Rank on ChatGPT's List of Top Players Since 2000?

Texas Longhorns legend Kevin Durant spent just one season in Austin, but etched his name in the history books forever.
In this story:

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence language model that can answer questions, write a Haiku or create a shopping list for you, among other things.

There's some people that are worried AI will get out of hand and take over the world or whatever, but, more importantly, it knows ball.

Former Texas Longhorns forward Kevin Durant was named the No. 3 college basketball player since 2000, trailing Duke forward Zion Williamson and Kentucky center Anthony Davis who ranked first and second, respectively. The only other Big 12 player in the top 10 was Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin at No. 4.

Durant was a one-and-done at Texas in the 2006-07 season, but he certainly made his presence felt in that one year in Austin.

The D.C. native averaged 25.8 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 35 games started that season, shooting 47.3 percent from the field, 40.3 percent from 3 and 81.6 percent at the charity stripe.

He won the Naismith Award and the Wooden Award — two of the most prestigious men's college basketball awards for an individual to win — as well as the Rupp Trophy, which was discontinued in 2015. Durant also was named the AP and Big 12 Player of the Year.

The 6-10, 240-pound forward holds program records for single-season scoring (903), most points per game in Big 12 play (28.9), the most 30-point games in a season (11), most field goals made in a season (306), the most rebounds in a Big 12 game (23), the most points in a season opener by a freshman starter (20) and is tied for the most blocked shots in a half of a Big 12 game (five).

Durant's jersey was retired by the Longhorns on Feb. 25, 2009.

Durant was drafted second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics, has played 15 seasons in the NBA, been named an All-Star 13 times and won the MVP award in 2013-14.
