No. 6 Longhorns vs. Oklahoma: Preview, How to Watch & Betting Odds

The Texas Longhorns aim for a regular-season sweep over the rival Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday in Austin.

The No. 6 Texas Longhorns host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday afternoon at the Moody Center for the second Big 12 meeting of the regular season between the two rivals.

Texas (20-6, 9-4) took the first meeting over OU in a 70-69 thriller in Norman on Dec. 31 to open up Big 12 play. The Longhorns battled from behind in the closing minutes to secure the win on the road.

But the Longhorns are coming off of arguably their worst loss of the season, as the last-place Texas Tech Red Raiders took down Texas 74-67 in Lubbock on Monday. The Red Raiders entered that game tied for last in the conference and remain in that spot as of Saturday, but got the best of the Longhorns.

Still, this should add some extra juice to a Texas squad that will have it far from easy against the Sooners (13-13, 3-10), who are currently tied with Tech in the Big 12 standings. OU stumbled through a four-game winning streak recently, but sandwiched that slump in between a massive 93-69 win over No. 1 Alabama on Jan. 28 and a 79-65 win over No. 12 Kansas State on Tuesday.

There's been some inconsistencies from coach Porter Moser's team this season, but they've proven they're capable of beating anyone.
