The Bruins have reeled in another top out-of-state defensive prospect.

Class of 2024 linebacker Blake Tabaracci has verbally committed to UCLA football, the Park City (UT) product announced Saturday on Twitter. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete is fresh off an official visit to Westwood, and he locked in his decision just one week after stopping by campus.

Tabaracci was sitting on additional offers from Arizona, BYU, Cal, Colorado, Michigan, Michigan State, Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State, Stanford, USC, Utah and Washington State.

Cal was scheduled to host Tabaracci for an official visit on June 23, but it remains to be seen if he will still head out to Berkeley that weekend.

Tabaracci accumulated 315 total yards and two touchdowns as a passer, rusher and receiver across 10 games for Park City in 2022. On defense, the linebacker tallied 43 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery.

In March, Tabaracci was at the Rivals Camp Series in Los Angeles. He will make another outing at a showcase for the ESPN Under Armour Camp Series in Salt Lake City on June 10.

Tabaracci is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports, Rivals, ESPN and On3. In the 247Sports Composite, Tabaracci is ranked as the No. 7 player in Utah, the No. 64 linebacker in the country and the No. 705 overall recruit in his class.

On top of being the No. 1 linebacker in Utah, Tabaracci is the No. 7 linebacker in the West and Mountain regions.

UCLA now has six commits in its 2024 recruiting class, including two linebackers – Tabaracci and Yelm (WA) three-star Isaiah Patterson, who committed on May 24 and is the No. 2 linebacker in Washington.

Inside linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr. is once again bringing a lot of youth to his position group after adding four signees in 2023. In the midst of his second recruiting cycle with the team, Norton has picked up commitments from six inside linebackers, compared to the two that previous inside linebackers coach Don Pellum added in his final two cycles.

The Bruins have four other 2024 prospects verbally committed to the program – four-star Mater Dei (CA) defensive back Khristian Dunbar-Hawkins, three-star Mission Viejo (CA) offensive tackle Mark Schroller, three-star Mount Tahmo (WA) offensive tackle Marquis Thorpe Taylor and three-star Eastlake (CA) offensive tackle Joshua Glanz.

UCLA's upcoming recruiting class ranks No. 37 in the country and No. 2 in the Pac-12, but No. 11 in the Big Ten.
