UCLA Basketball: Bruins Star Sophomore Confirms Return For 2024 Season
The UCLA Bruins 2023 season did not go as planned, as head coach Mick Cronin stated a few weeks ago—the team was sadly caught in a "rebuilding" year.
That's not to say that season was a disaster, the Bruins just fell short of capturing a Pac-12 title and an NCAA Tournament trip. This young UCLA team battled through adversity, even securing an impressive six-game win streak towards the latter half of the season.
Still, it wasn't enough for the Bruins to capture any kind of championship. The team could face some changes with players entering the transfer portal, players graduating, and even Coach Cronin potentially leaving.
While we don't believe Cronin will head to another team, one player will be staying put. Star sophomore Dylan Andrews took to X to state that the "job is still not finished."
Andrews took to social media to showcase an intense image of what looks to be him screaming, with a caption that signals his return to the Bruins for the 2024 season.
Andrews was one of the better players on the team, and he will be a huge benefit to whoever is part of the starting five next season. We imagine Coach Cronin will hit the transfer portal and recruiting trail hard to put together a team that will make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament in 2024.
Coach Cronin is likely going to be very happy that he can count on Andrews to help with that goal.
