When it comes to the multi-dimensional play style of most of the Mick Cronin-led UCLA teams that we've seen in recent years, it's clear that he always appreciates when his guards bring a ton of energy to both sides of the floor.

Their 2023-2024 roster will be special because of just how many different lineups they'll be able to put together. We are still some time away from watching the Bruins face off in official games but thanks to their summer tour, the guys are already getting some run against international competition.

In UCLA's first victory against the Madrid All Stars, it was freshman guard Sebastian Mack who was pushing the tempo and led the team in scoring with 17 points. The highlights showcase how he was just having fun out there and getting his shots to fall from all three levels.

Whether it was through floaters, pull-up jumpers or direct drives to the rim, Mack looked very comfortable with the ball and it makes a lot of sense. Before the team left to Spain, Cronin held a press conference with local media and immediately pointed out Mack's aggressiveness when asked what he's liked from him so far.

"I love his aggressiveness," said Cronin. "Dare that I would say he's a bearcat. He's a tough dude, he's just in attack and compete mode. He can put on the gloves and be a boxer, he's not running from the fight which you know I believe in guys like that. But he can score, so I think for us he's in his natural habitat. One thing I do with freshmen, you try to keep it simple."

Mack's scoring upside is definitely off the charts and everybody should be intrigued to see how other parts of his game develop as well!
