The UCLA Bruins are set to start conference play against their crosstown rivals, the USC Trojans. While the Bruins are ranked #2 nationally, the Trojans are not far behind at #6.ย

USC boasts a dynamic starting five, along with freshman phenom Juju Watkins. Watkins is ranked high amongst all NCAAW players and could pose a problem for the Bruins if she is not contained.ย

Lauren Betts and Kiki Rice are also ranked high on the NCAAW list as well. Betts and Rice joined Sportscenter to speak about the success of the team, and how they plan to face off against their rivals.ย

While the conversation started with the camaraderie between the team and their upbeat personalities, the teammates also delved into the sold-out game between the Bruins and Trojans.ย

Rice and Betts were asked if this Saturday will be "just another game." Rice jumped in and stated that it's not just another game as the Trojans are ranked #6 in the nation for a reason.ย

Betts talked about how good Watkins is, and how her "transition" game is what they need to watch out for. Betts also stated that the Bruins have been working hard to disrupt good transition players like Watkins.ย

Saturday will be an exciting game for both schools and college women's basketball. The national media has been going wild, along with the multitudes of fans. We can't wait to see how the game plays out.ย
