The UCLA Bruins women's basketball team put on an incredible performance today, as the team traveled to take on the Florida State Seminoles. Each period it appeared as though the Bruins were in complete control, never losing a lead.

A huge reason why UCLA was able to take down No. 20-ranked Florida State was because of the effort from Lauren Betts. The sophomore center was all over the court showcasing her elite scoring and ball-hawk capabilities.

Betts would end the day with a staggering 22 points, 18 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

Because of her work ethic, Betts was named Player of the Game, which we imagine is just one of the many she will receive in her young career.

UCLA beat Florida State with a final score of 95-78, securing a 9-0 record. The team is now 1st in the Pac-12 and sky is the limit for this special group.

Betts wasn't the only double-digit scorer on the day, as four of the five starts logged more than 10 points. Angela Dugalic and Charisma Osborne both logged 16 points. Kiki Rice also added 13 of her own.

The Bruins have been dominant all season, and it has everything to do with the starting five. If Lauren Betts can continue this dominance, there will be few teams that can stand in their way.
