UCLA Women's Basketball: Lauren Betts Only Third Player This Season to Record Insane Stat Line
Lauren Betts has had herself a day.
On top of the UCLA Bruins dominating Florida State with a final score of 95-78, the team has now improved to 9-0 on the season.
Betts was instrumental in delivering a chunk of the score, as she logged 22 points, 18 blocks, and 4 blocks. This was enough for her to land Player of the Game honors.
Though recording such an insane stat line was already amazing, Betts can now count herself as the third player this season to record over 20+ points, 18+ rebounds, and 4+ blocks.
Betts joins Elizabeth Kitley from Virginia Tech and Cameron Brink from Stanford as the only three players this season to secure such numbers. Though it's too early to count already, Betts could have thrust herself right into the MVP conversation.
The UCLA Bruins are now 9-0 and sit in 1st for the Pac-12. Should Betts and her cohorts continue to deliver such amazing performances, they will be hard to stop.
Bruins will look to continue their undefeated season when they take on #12 ranked Ohio State on December 18.
