Holy Innocents Episcopal School (Ga.) junior forward Caleb Wilson hasn't revealed finalists in his recruitment. But if he had, there's no doubt the UNC basketball program would have survived the cut.

After all, the Tar Heels are slated to welcome Wilson to campus for an official visit in less than two weeks, coinciding with UNC's Feb. 3 home game against archival Duke in the Smith Center. The 6-foot-10, 205-pound explosive five-star initially planned to check out the school back in November, but he ended up postponing the trip.

According to On3's Joe Tipton, Wilson's only official visits to date were to Auburn, Kentucky, and Stanford. Those all took place in 2023. So, considering UNC will be the first to host him this calendar year, head coach Hubert Davis and his crew should like where they stand in the race.

And on that note, Wilson, who ranks No. 4 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, informed Tipton this week that Davis is one of only seven head coaches who have been in to see him this season.

The others he mentioned are Auburn's Bruce Pearl, Georgia Tech's Damon Stoudamire, Kentucky's John Calipari, Missouri's Dennis Gates, Stanford's Jerod Haase, and Tennessee's Rick Barnes.

Considering Caleb Wilson has expressed no rush in picking a winner, it's no surprise the 247Sports Crystal Ball hasn't pegged a frontrunner for his services.

He is among eight other five-star recruits, all ranking inside the top 15, who are currently on the notably ambitious 2025 UNC basketball offer sheet.
