Huge UNC Basketball Target 'Very Impressed' With Visit Elsewhere
Holy Innocents Episcopal (Ga.) power forward Caleb Wilson, who has held a UNC basketball offer since May, was at Kentucky basketball's Big Blue Madness last weekend. John Calipari's staff hosted several others for their big event, including another 2025 Tar Heel target in Link Academy (Mo.) five-star combo guard Jasper Johnson.

According to the following post from Rivals' David Sisk, a Wildcats recruiting insider, Caleb Wilson (sporting Kentucky basketball threads in the picture below) left Lexington with his family feeling "very impressed":
The 6-foot-10, 205-pound five-star junior, an explosive all-around talent, ranks No. 5 overall, No. 3 among power forwards, and No. 1 in his state on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.
And as one would expect, Wilson has dozens of college suitors. While he hasn't named finalists in his recruitment, his recent and upcoming visits suggest possible frontrunners.
He checked out Alabama and Tennessee in September and has official visits on tap to Stanford this weekend and to Auburn the following weekend.
Then, per recruiting insider Adam Zagoria, Wilson will be on an unofficial UNC basketball visit beginning on Nov. 11 — presumably, he'll attend the Tar Heels' home game against Lehigh on Nov. 12 — and "plans to visit Duke" sometime.
Duke officially entered the fray after watching Caleb Wilson average 16.9 points and 9.9 rebounds at Peach Jam.
Wilson and Jasper Johnson are two of the eight prospects in their class on UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis' reported 2025 wishlist.
