Quick Turnaround: UNC Basketball Coach Visits Prep in Durham
If Southern Durham (N.C.) small forward Jackson Keith soon ends up on the 2025 UNC basketball wishlist, he'd be the ninth to do so. But after making his 247Sports 2025 Composite debut last week at No. 77 overall and No. 2 in North Carolina, he'd be the lowest-ranked target for the Tar Heels in the class and the only four-star talent.

Nevertheless, there's no doubt now that he's interested in UNC. And vice versa.
Keith was on an unofficial visit with the Tar Heels this past weekend and attended the UNC football team's 31-13 win over Minnesota in Kenan Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Then on Tuesday, just days after Keith returned from his trip to Chapel Hill, Rivals' David Sisk reported that UNC basketball assistant and former Tar Heel point guard Jeff Lebo was at Southern Durham to visit the 6-foot-6, 190-pound promising prospect.
As On3's Jamie Shaw noted after watching Keith at the Pangos All-American Camp in Las Vegas in June, there's plenty to like about his potential as a potent bucket-getter:
"[Jackson Keith] is a scorer. A wing who is comfortable at multiple levels on the floor to work himself to his spots and make some shots. It took a game or two for Keith to get comfortable in this setting, but his long arms, footwork, and touch were able to be showcased in the latter part of the camp."
Although Jackson Keith holds about 20 offers, the bulk of his high-major suitors, including Villanova's official entry into the race on Tuesday, didn't begin arriving in his recruitment until this summer.
Again, given his recent visit coupled with Lebo's follow-up visit, it wouldn't be a surprise if UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis and his cohorts join that list soon.
