UNC Basketball Assistant Jeff Lebo Pops in on Prime Wolfpack Target
Myers Park (Charlotte) small forward Sadiq White isn't among the seven 2025 talents holding a UNC basketball offer.
Nor has the 6-foot-8, 190-pound four-star junior added the Tar Heels to his upcoming visit plans. That schedule includes a trip to Raleigh at the end of September to check out NC State, an official suitor since late June; he also visited the Wolfpack last year, marking the first unofficial visit of his recruitment.
It wouldn't be a surprise, though, if White, who ranks No. 1 in North Carolina, No. 6 at his position, and No. 26 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, stops by Chapel Hill, either on his way back from NC State or a later date this fall.
After all, the long-limbed, versatile wing (also known as "AJ") has been on the radar of Hubert Davis and his staff for months.
And on Tuesday, per a report from The Circuit's Alex Karamanos, UNC basketball assistant and former Tar Heel point guard Jeff Lebo traveled to Myers Park to check on Sadiq White, presumably to show him the program's interest remains.
White already boasts roughly two dozen offers, including a handful from the ACC, and has drawn interest from another blueblood in UNC's archrival, Duke. While it's still early in the race — no 247Sports Crystal Ball picks — the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine pegs South Carolina and NC State as the frontrunners.
