Woodberry Forest School (Va.) senior Lucas Osada appears as a punter on 247Sports, enjoying a No. 3 composite ranking at that position in the 2024 cycle. But there's no doubt the 6-foot-1, 195-pound three-star, who committed to the UNC football program in June, can also serve as a kicker.

In fact, judging by his recently posted video from a placekicking workout, he has eyes on booting long field goals for the Tar Heels.

Captioning the footage of his spot-on make from the opposite side of the 50-yard line, Osada wrote, "Ending with a 62 yarder, can't wait to do this at UNC!"

As a senior, Lucas Osada connected on three of his four field goal attempts, including two from over 30 yards (each looked like it would have been good from over 50) and a 26-yard clutch kick in overtime. His only miss was from 60 yards.

And he made a habit out of sending kickoffs through the uprights.

Furthermore, he routinely delivered punts of 40-plus yards (45.3 average) with over four seconds of hangtime. That's not to mention his impressive improvisation in turning one errant snap into a first-down run.

Here are his posted highlights from the season:

Osada is among 27 hard commits in UNC football's 26th-ranked 2024 recruiting class. He's the only kicker or punter in that bunch.
