USC Basketball: Bronny James' Brother Bryce Visits Future Big Ten Rival

He could do what his father couldn't.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has always said that if he'd played college basketball it'd be for the Buckeyes as an Ohio native.

Though James never got to achieve this goal due to his rise to national prominence as a high school phenom one of his sons could now complete that goal for him.

It won't be LeBron's oldest child, as Bronny James is still attempting to make his comeback to the court for your USC Trojans.

His second son Bryce, however, took one step toward his father's unrealized goal as he took a visit to Ohio State with his mother Savannah earlier this month.

Bryce remains uncommitted as a high school recruit but he could potentially be even better than his brother.  It's probably worth noting that his dad is a massive Buckeyes fan, to the point where LeBron has stated publicly that, had he played in college, it would have been for OSU.

James' youngest son is taller than Bronny and the age difference between the two could mean that Bryce ends up the better of LeBron's two sons on the court.

It won't be for a lack of trying as LeBron has left quite the legacy for both of his children to live up to as one of the two greatest basketball players to play the sport.

Bronny's anticipated return to the hardwood after his heart condition this summer remains without a timetable but redshirting remains a possibility.

USC's future basketball teams may have to contend with his younger brother should he commit to the Buckeyes.

Ohio State's football program has consistently been better than their basketball one but plenty of high NBA draft selections have come from the university as well.

Greg Oden went first overall after his great Final Four run in 2007, his teammate Mike Conley was selected fourth that same year, and Evan Turner didn't fall too far behind him in 2010 as the second overall pick in that year's draft.

D'Angelo Russell, LeBron's current teammate, also played for Ohio State and wound up as the second pick of his 2015 draft class as well.

Conley and Russell both wound up receiving All-Star nods during lucrative, still-going NBA careers.

Bryce could be the next one on the list and depending on how Bronny's health holds up, we could see both of James' sons settling their sibling rivalry on the NCAA stage by next year.
