In this story:

Just a couple of months ago, one of the best high school centers in the nation by the name of John Bol announced that after considering options such as Overtime Elite and your own USC Trojans, he would be finishing up his senior season as Sunrise Christian High School and then attend the University of Florida. Even though USC came close to getting him to commit, they wished him the best and moved on.

However, Bol is once again available after his NIL advisor took to Twitter to announce the news to announce that he has now de-committed from Florida and it's reportedly due to a key coaching change.

"My Client 2024 John Bol @JohnBol_7 7’2 C Ranked #23 in the country has decommitted from Florida and will re-open his recruitment!!"

Despite having a skinnier and lankier frame, Bol has a motor and passion for the game of basketball that cannot be taught. He is a consensus top-30 player in the nation among his graduating class of 2024 on most major recruiting sites and seeing the potential that he has on both ends of the floor, it's for good reason.

The 7'2 center would make USC one of the best defensive squads in the Big Ten conference seeing that if he does decide to join the Trojans, it will be for their first season not playing in the Pac-12 conference.

And USC has an elite roster on their hands right now with key returners in Boogie Ellis and Kobe Johnson leading the way along with top freshman Bronny James and Isaiah Collier joining them but USC always looks ahead to the years coming.

The Trojans' coaching staff would land a player that's willing to do whatever it takes to win and outside of Overtime Elite, I think Bol is probably looking at USC as one of his options for his next home.
