USC Basketball: Trojans Circling Top 25 Class Of 2025 Guard
USC Trojans men's basketball head coach Andy Enfield seems well on his way to shoring up yet another excellent recruiting class.
And we're not even talking about Enfield's impending freshman class. 6'4" Harvard-Westlake guard Trent Perry was just named a McDonald's All-American, seemingly a testament to Enfield's bidding prowess. Perry's incoming freshman class, which also includes was named the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation, and marked Enfield's third straight top-10 recruiting class during his Trojans tenure. The 2023 USC class, led by five-star NBA lottery prospect Isaiah Collier and four-star Sierra Canyon School alum Bronny James, was also highly regarded.
Now, a new elite prep prospect is apparently circling your Trojans once again.
Per Joe Tipton of On3, 6'4" combo guard Brayden Burries, a member of the high school class of 2025, has indicated that USC numbers among the programs he's talked with the most from among his unofficial visits, which also includes Arizona, Duke, Houston, and, yes, UCLA. Tipton reports that Burries is considered one of the 25 best players from among his class.
Listed by On3 as a four-star recruit out of Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, Burries is currently ranked as the No. 19 best player in his class, and the third in the state.
