USC basketball returns home to the Galen Center Thursday night to host Utah after a two-game road trip to the Bay Area that resulted in two losses. Prior to these back-to-back defeats, the Trojans had just broken a six-game losing streak with a win over Oregon State.

Utah is also coming off two consecutive losses to Arizona and Arizona State at home, dropping the team's Pac-12 record to just 6-7. Both the Trojans and Utes will be looking to rebound in this contest.

How to Watch

USC-Utah will begin at 8 p.m. PST and will air on FS1. The game will also be available via streaming on the FuboTV app.

Odds

USC is narrowly favored (-1.5) over Utah (+1.5) this Thursday. The over/under is set at 148.5, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

Predictions

This will be freshman Isaiah Collier's first game back home since returning from his hand injury. Collier played in both of USC's road games last week against Cal and Stanford. Collier was immediately the most impactful player in terms of scoring upon his return, putting up 18 points, four rebounds and three assists against Stanford and 20 points, three rebounds and three assists versus Cal.

Home-field advantage will be another crucial factor for USC since Utah is just 1-5 on the road this season. Look for the return of Collier at home to be enough for USC to get another win.

Score Prediction: USC 78, Utah 74

More

Even with the Utes losing their past couple games, Branden Carlson has been hot for Utah during this span. Carlson is coming off back-to-back double-double performances after putting up less than 10 points in consecutive games two weeks ago.

Against Arizona State, Carlson recorded 25 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. The game before against Arizona, he notched 27 points, 15 rebounds and one assist. Controlling Carlson will be important for USC's defense, especially if they want to get this win.
