The USC Trojans women's basketball team closed the regular season with an impressive win over Arizona State. They sit with a record of 23-5 on the season and have put themselves in a good spot for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

They are now waiting to see who they will play in the Pac-12 Tournament, but the final AP rankings of the season came out. USC finished by being ranked fifth in the country, their highest ranking in 30 years.

The Trojans have been on a mission all season long, led by the play of freshman guard JuJu Watkins. She has been incredible all year, giving the Trojans a true star to work around.

USC will be a problem for whoever matches up with them in the NCAA Tournament, as they cause issues defensively for teams. Nobody has been able to stop Watkins so far, and she should continue her dominance the rest of the way.

Alongside her are forward Rayah Marshall and guard McKenzie Forbes, both of whom have been major contributors this season. Forbes has stepped up in a leadership role for the Trojans this season, helping them keep calm throughout the year.

This team is in a good spot to fight for their third title in program history, the first since 1984. As long as Watkins continues to pour out strong numbers, USC can take down anyone in the country.
